End of year fun

There's a lot of craziness packed into those last few weeks of school, I tell you.  By now we've started to recover from the end of year running from here to there and I am almost able to say that it was all fun, ha ha.  Actually, I want to make note of a couple of the events from those last weeks that really were fun.

TLC, who finished his kindergarten year with flying colors, participated in his kindergarten program and talent show.  They put on a great show with some fun songs.  For his talent, TLC shared a little of his comic side by telling some silly jokes.  TLC doesn't share a lot of details with me about school, but there were a couple of times this year that I was able to see him in action with his peers--the day of the program was one of those.  It's fun to see that he seems to be well-liked and that he's just about as silly as all the other kids.  He loved his teacher, Mrs. Neeley.  She was great with the kids.

RVC successfully finished 2nd grade.  Much of the last term for 2nd graders was spent getting ready for their puppet plays--making their puppets, designing costumes, writing plays and learning their lines.  Our family was able to attend the performance and see the end result of all their hard work.  RVC's group did a great job.  Her puppet was one of two cute monkeys that joined in on some adventures involving two little girls and a magic four-leaf clover.
