our weekend
What a special weekend. Yesterday we woke up to snow on the ground, which meant cancelled soccer and t-ball games, but somehow seemed appropriate for a baptism day. An all white day for a girl dressed all in white.
RVC was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was a day our family had talked about for a long time. We are very proud of her.
This morning, baby MEC was given his name and a special priesthood blessing by his father during our sacrament meeting. It was neat to see uncles, grandfathers, great-grandfather, and, of course, TEC standing in the circle for both the confirmation yesterday and the baby blessing today. We realized tonight that it was the first time all of TEC's brothers were together participating in either event. Pretty neat.
