3 months and other news

Little MEC turned 3 months old this past week.  I managed to take a couple of pictures of him that day on my phone, but I'm afraid they don't do justice to how cute he is right now.

He's discovering his voice and loves to "talk" to us.  He gives sweet smiles (CAC often exclaims, "MEC has a smile on his face!" and "He's making me a smile!").  It's fun to see how much he looks like TLC.

This weekend was MEC's first time up to the cabin.  We enjoyed our time with TEC's family even as the weather outside seemed more like winter than what you'd expect for Memorial Day weekend.  What a strange spring we've had this year.

But ready or not weather-wise, summer is just about here.  TLC had his last day of kindergarten last week and RVC will be finishing 2nd grade this week.  Yay for them!  And yay for us--we survived.  The past weeks have been busy with soccer, t-ball, piano...all the usual end-of-year activity, and hopefully I will soon get the chance to document some of it here.
