We live really close to Tanner Park, so we rode there and down through the gully and then up to parts of the new (for us) Parleys and Bonneville Shoreline trails. Avid bike riders we are not, so we had jell-o legs by the end, but it was so nice. I'm loving this fall weather.
We went to the Utah State Fair on Thursday evening to visit the sheep, cows, pigs and horses. It was cheap entry night, but somehow we managed to make up for it on food and a few other things. The kids enjoyed their balloon dog/flower/crown as long as they lasted, and had fun waving to Dad on the merry-go-round. I was just pleased to find real snow cones--you know, the kind in the cone cup that you used to be able to get places until shaved-ice-in-Styrofoam-cups took over. We tried grape, lime, and blue raspberry. And then went back for cherry.
Tonight is the first home football game for the UTES--TEC is excited to use his first ticket of the season. I'll be hanging out at home with the kids for a change (ha ha). I'm pretty sure we won't be getting the whole family out for any games this year, but I might take CAC out one of these Saturdays...before it gets too cold.

Congratulations you guys! Fall weather--sigh---we have a little ways to go before we get that here in Texas. Oh and Sam might be applying to the U. Not for sure what we are doing, but it's on the list. Love ya'll!
