INTRODUCING THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE FAMILY!!!
No, we didn't have the baby two months early. Instead, we got a puppy. "Bea" is a three month old beagle. She is the most docile beagle I've ever met, and she runs scared when I walk in the back yard to see her. One of the reasons we got her was to run off the stray cats that continue to infiltrate our yard, but yesterday J noticed a cat in the middle of the yard, and the beagle was nowhere to be seen. Oh well, I guess we'll have to go over Beatrice's responsibilities again. R loves to play with Bea in the yard-- you wouldn't believe how sweetly she calls Bea, saying, "hey, girl." TL is still learning to be gentle, but Bea is a good sport about it.
