Here are some pictures of our trip to Edom last weekend. Blueberry picking is a favorite family outing of ours--too bad we only have a couple of months in the year to enjoy it, and hot months at that. R was so excited to go again this year and was convinced that she needed to wear her "blueberry picking shirt" (the same one she wore last year when we went, if you're keeping track). TL loved picking, but was not as accurate in picking "only the blue ones." R had to get on him several times.
We've enjoyed a week of muffins, cobbler, and even blueberries on our cereal. We're almost out and looking forward to our next trip. To anyone crazy enough to be planning a June/July visit to east Texas, we recommend Blueberry Hill Farms in Edom (http://www.blueberryhillfarms.com/), mostly because they have really good blueberry lemonade that we enjoy after picking, although the kids and I are going to give a different berry farm a try this week that is actually closer to home. We'll see how it compares.
