Summer celebrating

Another big sign that summer is nearing its end: we finish up our summer birthdays.

SCC turned SEVEN last weekend.

It was right after our trip to Burley, ID, where TEC and I teamed up for the Spudman triathlon.

We made it home just in time to get our last minute birthday stuff ready.
The kids were pretty excited about putting together this delicious poster.

SCC was pretty excited about receiving some art classes.

Since her birthday fell on a Sunday, we extended the celebrating into the next week, with a friend birthday party at the Club.

What a happy, confident, beautiful girl.  Very aware of what is right and fair and who is sad or needing a friend.  I loved watching her at her party--so comfortable being herself.

Yesterday, CAC turned the big FIVE.

It was our first Saturday morning at home in several weeks, so we enjoyed a special breakfast.

CAC celebrated in the sprinklers with some of her friends.

And again that evening at the club with family.
