Here are some things I've neglected to mention over the past few weeks. Halloween certainly did happen, even with my escaping part of the festivities for my trip (more to come on that). The kids enjoyed the annual cousins Halloween party at Grams' and Papa's house.

I love seeing the traditional front porch photo grow over the years.
Some fun Halloween crafts decorated our walls/fridge, created both at school and randomly at home, as usual.
I ran my first ever half-marathon! No photos, but it went well and I was very grateful for my sister running with me at the end. TLC ran in the kids race the same day--spur of the moment and in his jeans. He got third place:)
We picked pumpkins at the farm again this year... I think TEC maybe ended up with the photos from that adventure.
Halloween at the school. I finally took decent photos of the kids marching in the parade, which isn't saying much, but yay for me:).
Even my pre schoolers held still long enough for a photo.
We scrambled around Halloween afternoon to fit in last-minute pumpkin carving, but had a great time trick-or-treating with our next door neighbors that evening. It is fun to have other kids on our street, even though we are mostly in the habit of staying in our cave and/or wrapped up in our on comings and goings. We noted that our kids are getting older; our trick-or-treating took us farther around the neighborhood than in past years. Or maybe we just got carried away enjoying the especially nice weather.
RVC's soccer season ended just in time (pre-snow). She had a great season, but we're looking forward to a little break.
First Utah Basketball game. Cute kids, but we're thinking we might be leaving these two behind next time (phew!).
And last night was the fall piano recital, TLC's very first recital, in fact. They did a great job with the Family Reunion theme; RVC played two duets: one with TLC and one with her mom:). TLC also played a solo number.
Then later last night, you may have spotted two crazy people out in our yard bagging up the last of the leaves (or at least most of them) and rounding up toys and shovels and rakes in the dark before saying goodnight to this beautiful fall...
Just in time for the snow.
