Four year-old number four

CAC turned four last weekend.  I'm staying up too late to write about it tonight before another week slips by.  We had a great time celebrating up at the cabin--our families came up in shifts.  CAC, of course, loved having the multiple-day spotlight on her.

It was fun to have such a relaxing birthday morning for a change--no work or school to rush off to.  We enjoyed a strawberry waffles breakfast, CAC opened a few presents, and we had fun hanging out with Steve and Megan.  We found a little hike in the afternoon that was just right for our crew.  The kids had fun picking some wild raspberries along the way.

My family arrived that evening and we ate CAC's request of pizza, strawberry ice cream and "princess" (interpreted as "pink") cake.  It's easy to celebrate such a sweetheart.

Of course, dress ups were a big part of the birthday celebration.  This one seemed to be her favorite.

It was fun to have some extra time to hang out with my sisters.

On Saturday, more of TEC's family arrived, bringing more cousins for the kids and all the usual cabin activities.  We caught a glimpse of a pretty amazing sunset.

CAC loved her birthday and already talks about her plans for next year's celebration.

We enjoyed spending time with you at the Cundick Cabin! What a wonderful place for family and thanks to all the Cundicks for sharing your warm and friendly refuge with the Bushmans.
