Girls trip

My sisters, mom, and I took a girls trip to Moab a few weeks ago.  It was a wonderful and relaxing weekend.  Thank you, TEC, for encouraging us and for getting the ball rolling.  Thank you, Mom, for working out all the details.  For all the times I had talked about how fun it would be to spend some time away with just us girls, it's too bad it's taken us so long to actually make it happen.

I love the comfortable feeling I get when I'm around people who really know me.  TEC is one of those people, of course, but I think it's a special thing, as a woman, to have other women in my life who know me, my history, and who cheer me on even if from very different perspectives or stages of life.  It's equally special to be able to do the same for them.  I was reminded of this over and over again on this trip.  Sisters (and moms) help keep you grounded, remind you to be gentle with yourself, and stand by your side.  I'm so lucky to have these 3 women in my life.
