I almost forgot about these photos. We pulled out the sparklers on the third of July this year and the kids had a great time. We finally convinced them to let their arms do the spinning instead of their whole bodies (less likely to get dizzy that way). Luckily, the sparklers ended up in the bucket of water when we were finished instead of on all those bare feet.
We celebrated the 4th with Val and Ben's family again this year--this time at our house. We realized that although this was our 4th summer back in Utah, it was only our first 4th of July at home. It was a fun evening--games, good food, kids running around with cousins. Then we walked up the street and about a block away from our house to a great spot where we had pretty good views of several big firework shows. It's kind of fun to discover something new about where you live.
