This January, more than anything, I'm grateful that I made it through 2010 without some of the bumps and bruises that many others I care about had to face. I don't understand why so many things happen the way they do. I feel extremely blessed with a wonderful family and grateful for my relationship with each of them. I recognize the blessing it is to have my health and my home, for TEC to be able to go to work and support us, for our kids to enjoy being together.
Our few days of 2011 have been good. Somehow we've managed to get up in the mornings and where we've needed to be, despite our best efforts to get off track over Christmas break. RVC and TLC are back in school. TEC back at work and how. Piano lessons and Kindermusik started back up this week. Christmas decorations have been packed away. I'm doing my best to get the house back in shape, struggling a bit to not get sidetracked by various other projects that need attention around here. We're getting a start on our goals for the year. I'm enjoying being able to say that the baby is due "next month." Hoping to get caught up soon on posts that should have been made all through December and then maybe have the energy to make our 2010 book...because let's face it...things are only going to get more crazy around here.

Sounds like things are going well in this new year. I wish my life were so well put-together. I'm hoping it will be, though, by the end of this week. ;)
