First was RVC, who made a pretty cute witch...green face paint and all.
She played in her second piano recital last week--"Spooky Tunes" was the theme. She did a great job and had quite the section of fans.
TLC, once again, sported a few costumes this year. We tried a mummy, which was pretty easy to put together, but we learned that all white costumes are not ideal for little boys.
For the school parade, we got creative with a "monster-on-my-back" costume.
In the end, the skeleton costume was his favorite, I think (and the simplest--go figure).
SCC also had a hard time deciding. Black cat was her main costume. She also made a re-apperance as Minnie Mouse at RVC's recital. And, the cheerleader outfit was the costume of choice for trick-or-treating. Sometimes we're lucky to get to any decision with this one. Thank goodness for dressups.
Lastly was CAC, our cute little candy corn. I'm going to miss seeing that quilted number running around.
A few weeks ago, Papa had his annual Halloween party. The kids had a great time with cousins.
We also made a visit to a pumpkin patch with P and T and their boys.
This past week was the marathon stretch of Halloween festivities. Thursday brought parties and a parade at the school. On Friday, we went trick-or-treating at Daddy's office in the afternoon, then to our ward Halloween party that evening. Saturday, or Halloween Eve, we carved our pumpkins and made it out around the neighborhood in evening for more trick-or-treating (because we were worried the kids weren't getting enough candy?).

We finally took it easy today. Halloween day. No costumes. Attempts at healthy meals squeezed in between overdoses of candy. Church in the afternoon. We enjoyed having Grandma and Grandpa over for pumpkin stew. Then we lit our pumpkin lanterns one last time and watched Don Knotts in The Ghost and Mr. Chicken before bed.
On to November!
