If it's true, RVC is all set. No longer a kindergartner. She had her last day of school last Friday and today we went in for her post-kindergarten assessment with Mrs. Neeley.
It was so neat to listen to her answer the different questions and think about how much she has grown this year. As watched her write her name (first and last with capital and lower case letters...so easy for her now), I thought about the first time she wrote her name--all upper case and backwards on a kids menu at a restaurant. As she answered some simple math "story problems," I felt proud of her ability to focus and think through things. It was fun to hear Mrs. Neeley refer to RVC as a "good reader."
Here are some pictures from the kindergarten Mother's Day program that RVC's class did a few weeks ago.

We have some fun things going on this summer, but mostly I'm excited to have things slow down a bit and to be a little bit more in control of our schedule.
A happy June to one and all.
