...a virtue I always thought I possessed, but the past few weeks have made me wonder. Aside from the typical pains of packing and unpacking, moving has really seemed to cut me off from the world. We are slowly making the transition into Utah life. We still show a few signs of our Texas past: license plates, misplaced wardrobes (what? snow in September?...Where's that box of sweaters?), even the heading of this blog will need to change. But the address and (finally, today) phone number make it official. Still no Internet (no working phone jacks in our house--go figure), so the kids and I are spending the afternoon at my mom's so I can check e-mail.
I'm looking forward to being able to sit down and do some quality catching up on the blog soon, though, I'm not sure when I'll have the time it will require...it's been way too long. TEC and I had a great time in Chicago just a few days after the move and had the chance to meet up with some old law school friends up in Michigan as well. So...stay tuned for more.
