I may be wrong.(note: I did forget Les Miserables in Norfolk, VA with the Murrays back in 2003)
So we were at the Shakespeare Festival, but actually opted for tickets to see Man of La Mancha. I loved it. I was only a little familiar with the story and music...TEC a little more, since he's been listening to the CD since Christmas. The cast and production as a whole were very impressive.
More than anything I'm struck by Don Quixote's "impossible dream" of embracing the world as it should be. There is one line that [roughly] stayed with me: "When the world is ludicrous, madness is seeing things as they really are..." TEC and I also started thinking on the drive back home about dreams...what dreams in our lives we haven't pursued...not that much good can come from dwelling too much on all of that, but kind of interesting all the same.
We're still hoping to sell our house. Not much happening still and we're a bit frustrated with things. Know anyone looking for a house in East Texas? Great location, wonderful neighborhood, huge yard...
Our thoughts are with Uncle Wade right now. I have been in touch with my mom off and on getting filled in on the details. I understand my cousins are in for the week and at least through the surgery. We will keep him and his family in our prayers.
