Talking

TLC has a lot to say these days. Lately he likes to repeat things that his sister says, and then repeat them throughout the day. It's fun to hear him work through some of the words. Here are some recent quotes:

I don't like that hot thing! (referring to mom's hair flat iron)

I need you to get that white stuff off [the orange].

Look at the airplane way up in the sky! (a lot of things are "up in the sky"--the crackers up on the top shelf in the cupboard are "up in the sky.")

Of course, like his older sister, it seems that TL was singing before he was talking. His current favorite songs to sing (at the top of his lungs) are "Yo ho, yo ho, a Pirate's life for me," "Follow the Prophet" with an emphatic (Don't go astray!), and the chorus of "Tomorrow" from Annie.
