Memorial Day...the unofficial beginning of summer. We had a nice weekend--trip to the zoo on Saturday (R's neighbor friend Bela joined us), park program/picnic on Monday followed by naps and then a dip in our new pool (Dollar General special).
We're trying to enjoy the outdoors while the temperatures are still bearable, but we're remembering that it won't be long before the Texas heat shuts us indoors.
