Just because, I want to write a bit about my fun, silly boy.
Here's how he looks these days:
Just kidding...that was the last of TLC's hair before TEC finished off his ultra-short-maybe-I-should-have -used-a-one "summer haircut."
A couple of observations from the past few weeks of summer: TLC happily bounces from one thing to the next. I have a hard time keeping up with him. Some things he loves are watching "Iron Man" cartoons, playing games on the iPod, telling his mom about "Iron Man" episodes and iPod games he's played, eating graham crackers, turning on the sprinklers, twisting in the swing, finding rolly pollies, tying himself up, opening up more graham cracker packages and eating them, jumping on the trampoline, taking his shoes off in the car, reading out loud. He knows what he wants and gets annoyed when I ask him what he's up to--usually because he know's I'm about to ask him to stop for a minute and do something for me.
TLC often shows me glimpses of a world I never knew growing up with only sisters. The other day, I found him in his room arranging this set up:
(I'd hate to be the white robot up against all those other guys!)
Towards the end of the school year, I started saving papers TLC was bringing home because I got such a kick out of the little conversations he and his teacher would have on his work. Here were a couple of my favorites (such confidence that kid has!):
