Happy Easter. I always enjoy Easter and the feelings of peace and hope that come along with it, but I think I'm feeling especially full of peace today. I just finished (yesterday) an Easter reading packet that was put together by our stake Relief Society. Over 3 or 4 weeks, the readings took us through the life and mission of Jesus Christ using scriptural accounts, hymns, and talks from leaders of the church. I enjoyed having a specific focus to my scripture reading, but I don't think I realized until today how much the reading affected me. My love for the Savior has been strengthened. I honestly feel more hope in the promises of His atonement and the Resurrection. I'm grateful for these feelings--sometimes you don't realize you're in a rut until something comes along and lifts you higher.
Here are some pictures from our Easter weekend.
