favorite shirt and other fun

I'm suffering from multiple-piles-on-my-counter syndrome.  Too many things coming home from school these days (and so far we're only dealing with 2nd grade and kindergarten).  I'm pretty good at tossing things (as long as the kids don't see me do it), but every now and then there are items that amuse me and I have a harder time slipping them in the recycling bin right away.

The following are from TLC.  I've held on to a few of his crafts lately because I've seen a trend in his self-portraits.

Whenever he draws himself, he seems to sport a particular red and blue striped shirt.  I'm not sure why, because no such shirt exists in his wardrobe.  Maybe I need to start looking for one.

Meanwhile, RVC brings home a few gems of her own.  Here is a fun little St. Patrick's Day comic strip that she wrote.  I love how literal some of the captions are.
