When your birthday is April 3rd, you might have to share it with things like Spring Break...
and the Final Four...
and General Conference weekend.

Some years, even though it is spring, it might snow on your birthday.

So, you might find it hard to have to stay indoors.

You might have to find something fun to do [indoors] the day before your birthday because everyone will be paying attention to Conference on your birthday...

...like bowling.

But then again, you might luck out to have some of your cousins in town on your birthday because it's Spring Break, and they might just come along.

You might find that you're a really good sport on your birthday to sit and do Conference bingo games, color quietly, and even write down words you hear out of the mouth of the Prophet and other leaders of the Church.

And before and between sessions, you might get some special meals and treats, with visits from your grandparents, and phone calls from more cousins.

And because some years, your birthday might fall the day before Easter, you might get to do things like dye eggs on your birthday.

And that evening, after the Priesthood session of Conference, everyone might get together for banana splits at Grams' and Papa's house and sing "Happy Birthday" to you.  And you might get to stay up a little late on your birthday.

But hopefully, even though you'll have to share the attention, you'll know how special you are and how glad we all are that you were born...

...SEVEN years ago!


And, in case you're wondering when you'll get to share your birthday with Easter--in addition to these other things--we did some looking into that this weekend as well.

Not until 2067.

RVC will be turning 64 that year.  Hopefully she will have many surrounding her to make that day special.  And I guess I can hope that I'll still be around to be one of them.
