Tonight we did something we've never done.
We went to the movies (all but CAC, that is, who spent the evening at Grams' house)! UP was playing at the dollar theaters (in fact, I think there were 3 G-rated movies playing there--I almost feel like it's my duty to support that). What a great movie. I had heard nothing but good about it and I was not disappointed.
More than any details about the movie, though, I want to remember a few things my kids did on their first trip to the big screen. Like how SCC was singing "Let's Go to the Movies" from Annie in the bathroom before the show. Or how all three of them went crazy over the monstrous-sized popcorn and Sprite that we shared. Or how TLC felt compelled to take his shoes and socks off during the movie--just like at home.
