Come What May, and Love It

I just went to check something on lds.org and learned of the passing of Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin (I believe it was Monday night that he passed away in his sleep). After reading what was written in the Church Newsroom, I clicked over to his talk from October's General Conference, titled "Come What May, and Love It."

I remember enjoying this talk when it was given, particularly some of the stories he told under the section "Learn to Laugh" (that blind-date/babysitter story kills me). But I'm not sure that I would have turned back to re-read the talk on my own.

As it turns out, it was a message I really needed tonight. Don't we all need to remember, from time to time, the simple secret: "put your trust in the Lord, do your best, then leave the rest to Him."
