Christmas lists are a new thing for us this year. RVC, with an older cousin serving as scribe, drafted her first list back before Thanksgiving. I'll admit that I wasn't too sad when that list was misplaced.
This is one she came up with a couple of weeks ago (too bad the picture is a bit fuzzy). I wish I had a video of her explaining it to me...I'll do my best.
1. A princess nightgown
2. Narnia movie (She explained that she thinks she's old
enough to get a movie for Christmas)
3. New slippers
4. A candy cane
5. A Barbie model (I don't think either of us knows if a Barbie model
exists...but she seemed quite impressed with herself for thinking of this
one)
6. A new pencil
7. A princess ballerina Barbie (again...who knows if this
exists)
8. An oven that makes cupcakes (this one was great to hear her
describe: "It really does make cupcakes, Mom. I saw it on an ad!")
9. New fairy wings so SCC can have her old ones.
10. A pink jewel
11. A (hold on to your seat) golden ring with a pink
jewel
12. A golden necklace with a purple jewel...
I guess we'll see what happens. I should say that in addition to writing wish lists, RVC has really seemed to catch on to the excitement of giving and trying to be good. She's at a fun age for this time of year.
