We had a fun visit to Utah from August 3rd through 12th. We enjoyed some family time, including a very special baptism of my niece Samantha, lots of time with cousins on both sides, a few game nights, and an evening up Millcreek canyon.
We also fit in some house-hunting, which I'm happy to report, was successful. We are currently under contract on a house in Canyon Rim. We're very excited about the location and the style of house is just what we were hoping for (and recognizing the difference in house prices in Texas and Utah, we were trying not to get our hopes up about anything).
So come mid September, we'll be making our move westward. Bea made the move early and is enjoying some fellow beagle company at Grams and Papa's with Belle Beagle. Hopefully they will still have some carpet down in the basement before her stay is over there.

How exciting that you found a house! How about your house in Tyler? Has it sold yet? Hopefully things will go smoothely for you. We look forward to seeing you in Sept!
Still for sale...I'm not a fan of this process.
We can't wait to see the Wyatts and what will be their new baby girl.
