Typical bedtime scenerio at our house: RVC, who no longer takes a nap during the day, has fallen asleep minutes after we say "goodnight" (okay, maybe she throws in an occasional extra 'potty trip' now and then). TL, on the other hand, is just beginning his nighttime serenade. He does still nap, and probably is still not at the point where he could make it through the day without a nap. But he certainly has a hard time settling down at night. Here's a list of tonight's musical program. Hopefully by the time I finish writing this, he'll be done:
"Happy Birthday to You"
"I will Go, I will Do the things the Lord Commands!"
"Yo ho, Yo ho, a Pirate's life for me"
"Twinkle, twinkle, Little Star"
"I am a Child of God"
"Everybody wave and sing Goodbye" (song from RV's Kindermusik class)
"Goodbye Moo Cow!" (also from Kindermusik)
"Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" (Reprise)
...nope still going. I vaguely remember RV going through this same phase?...
"The wheels on the bus go round and round..."
